Job Summary
The Process Manager will be responsible for leading and optimizing manufacturing processes in a PCB production environment. The role is responsible for ensuring stable, efficient, and high-yield processes across key production areas, as well as supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) projects to achieve successful qualification and mass production readiness.

This role will serve as the primary liaison between production, engineering, quality control, procurement, and suppliers, driving cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues and deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, strong project management skills, and a customer-centric mindset.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Process Ownership & Optimization: Take full ownership of key PCB manufacturing processes, including: Imaging and exposure, Etching and plating (chemical processes), Lamination and material handling, Surface finish processes. Drive continuous improvement to enhance yield, reduce defects, and improve cycle time. Monitor and control critical process parameters (CPP) and ensure process capability (Cp/Cpk).

2. NPI & Qualification Support: Lead process readiness for NPI projects, including trial runs, process setup, and validation. Identify and resolve process-related issues during customer qualification phases. Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to ensure smooth product ramp-up. Support customer audits and technical reviews during the NPI stage.
Problem Solving & Yield Improvement: Analyze yield loss and process deviations using structured methodologies (8D, RCA, FMEA, SPC). Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex process issues.

3. Equipment & Materials Management: Collaborate with equipment teams to ensure proper setup, maintenance, and optimization of PCB machinery. Evaluate and qualify new materials (e.g., laminates, chemicals, dry film). Ensure compatibility between materials, processes, and product requirements.

4. Process Standardization & Documentation: Establish and maintain process standards, work instructions, and control plans. Ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. Drive best practice sharing and process standardization across production lines.

Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in PCB manufacturing.
3. Strong hands-on experience with key PCB processes: Imaging / Exposure, Wet processes (etching, plating, chemical treatment), PCB materials, and stack-up understanding.
4. Proven experience in NPI project support and customer qualification.
5. Experience working with international customers (e.g., telecom, datacenter, automotive) is a plus.
