Position Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as our Manager of Procurement & Supplier Quality. This pivotal role is responsible for building, developing, and managing our strategic supplier base in China while ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on manager who excels at merging commercial procurement acumen with rigorous supplier quality engineering (SQE) to drive value, mitigate risk, and foster innovation within our global supply chain.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:
– Lead the end-to-end process for identifying, evaluating, qualifying, and onboarding new suppliers in China, with a focus on EMS services and mechanical 19″ rack systems.
– Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives that align with corporate goals for cost, quality, and delivery.
– Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
2. Supplier Quality Assurance:
– Implement and oversee a robust supplier quality management system, ensuring compliance with internal specifications and international standards (ISO 9001, IPC, etc.).
– Plan and conduct comprehensive supplier audits (system, process, product) to assess capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
– Lead root cause analysis and corrective action (CAPA) initiatives for supplier-related quality issues.
3. Team Leadership & Development:
– Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Procurement and Logistics specialists.
– Optimize team workflows and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall operational excellence.
– Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration within the team.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
– Partner closely with international corporate teams to align sourcing strategies and quality processes with global objectives.
– Act as the key liaison in China for all procurement and supplier quality matters.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement and supplier quality management, preferably within electronics manufacturing or a related industry.
3. Proven experience (2+ years) in a direct leadership role, successfully managing and developing a team.
4. Demonstrated expertise in supplier auditing, quality systems (ISO 9001), and quality control methodologies.
5. Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-cultural, and international environment.
