Position Overview
Senior quality leader responsible for NPI quality governance, liquid cooling system validation, supplier process control, and Tier-1 customer audit readiness across DC & NI platforms.
Role and Responsibilities
1. NPI Quality Governance
2. Lead transition of new products from design to full-scale manufacturing.
3. Drive high-yield ramps for liquid-cooled racks and networking platforms.
4. Establish structured FAI control plans and inspection standards.
5. Liquid Cooling Process Control.
6. Validate pressure testing, leak detection, cleaning procedures, and contamination control.
7. Develop standardized assembly and testing protocols for liquid systems.
8. Root Cause & 8D Leadership.
9. Lead 8D investigations with Tier-1 customers.
10. Conduct detailed electro-mechanical failure analysis.
11. Implement corrective and preventive actions with measurable impact.
12. Supplier Quality & Audit.
13. Conduct on-site audits of mechanical, plating, die casting, and assembly suppliers.
14. Develop supplier capability expansion plans.
15. Ensure global customer audit readiness at all times.
16. DFM & Process Validation.
17. Enforce DFM for sheet metal, plastics, die-cast, cable assemblies, and rack integration.
18. Validate manufacturing processes and production readiness.
19. Oversee ECO and lifecycle documentation within PLM.
20. Cross-Functional Execution.
21. Work directly with engineering, supply chain, and CMs to resolve building issues.
22. Provide structured quality reporting to leadership and customers.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
2. 7+ years in mechanical NPI quality for data center or networking equipment.
3. Minimum 2+ years of direct experience supporting liquid cooling systems.
4. Strong understanding of L11 integration, rack assembly, and fiber management.
5. Experience with PLM systems (Agile/Propel).
6. Direct experience leading Tier-1 customer audits preferred.
