Roles & Responsibilities

In a multicultural, international environment and aligned with the group strategy, the SPF product Coordinator has to meet customer needs by the management of the existing SPF products portfolio and ensuring the right development of new products.

Working closely with the APAC marketing manager, this role has to monitor the market developments and provide solutions to ensure revenue growth and guarantee the profitability expected by the group.

For the APAC region:

• Develop and implement a portfolio answering to the marketing strategies to support the commercial strategy:
 understand and analyze the needs of the palatability market.
 understand the competitive intelligence and marketing intelligence.
 identify and anticipate the customer needs,
 Transform the market insights in relevant product attributes.
 Lead the sample results analysis, and related correctives actions.
• Carry out the entire product development workflow from ideation to product launch, ensuring with all internal stakeholders the feasibility including R&D capability and resources, sourcing, industrial capability, regulatory constraints and pricing positioning.
• Monitor the entire product lifecycle from its launch to its end-of-life: analyze the results of the product on the market and compare them to the objectives, profitability and evolution of the product, coordinate the solving of any product-related problems, implement corrective actions and make any necessary adjustments.
• Monitor and guarantee the achievement of new products’ KPI’s
• Ensure customer visit to support information collection and provide adapted materials to the context / objectives of the visit.
• Present the new products to the sales teams, contribute to the training (conception & deployment) and the creation of sales support tools: technical data sheets, sales pitch, product positioning/ value proposition, price proposals, launch plan, sampling plan, etc.
• Participate actively in customer events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, business / Marketing background preferred.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience on similar functions, B to B markets and international/matrix organization environments. Food / Pet food sectors preferably.
• Masters marketing techniques and tools (skilled use of various office software).
• Familiar with product development and product life cycle in food related industry.
• Ability to build intra-team relationships and collaborate in a global environment at all levels of the organization. Demonstrate practice on functional management of an international team.
• Strong presentation and communication ability.
• Fluent in English.
• Pet owner preferred.
