Position Purpose

The company China seeks for an experienced Marketing Manager, supervising and leading marketing activities in China. The candidate will focus on building a strong marketing plan, taking into consideration our brand awareness development strategy as well as coordinating our distribution partners’ activities.

 

Mission

1. As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating the marketing and communication strategy for Tiki Pets in China, in total coordination with the Country Manager and the U.S. Head Quartered supporting teams.
2. As any other member of company China, your mission is strongly linked to Sales revenue of our company and, each action we do aim at supporting our business growth. You will dot-line report to the VP Marketing in the US, and direct report to the Country Manager, based in Shanghai.

 

Role & Responsibilities

1. Develop a strong working relationship with our distributors in China,
2. Create and implement the marketing and digital marketing strategy,
3. Help the Country Manager to market products and grow thanks to our 3 pillars strategy,
4. Help the Country Manager to budget, control and monitor spendings, investing in marketing to support sales,
5. Create a strong brand awareness for consumers to bond with our company,
6. Support our omni channels business model by adapting marketing contents to multi-platforms: flagship stores, social media, online & offline retailers, WeChat communities, etc.
7. Support our sales team in implementing and validation consumers promotions,
8. Identify and work with KOL KOC directly, and via distributors,
9. Perform marketing training of the distributor’s sales teams and retailers,
10. Implement and follow up monthly and weekly KPI’s internally and with distributors,
11. Be an entrepreneur in your role, bringing insights to the management, bringing value by trying, communicating, tracking results, meeting your goals,
12. Promote our organization and our products.

 

Qualifications

1. Man / Woman, 10 years’ experience minimum, you are dynamic and take initiatives,
2. Proven professional experience in digital, in building plans and implementing them,
3. Proficient in Digital, you feel trends, you read digital papers, you attend or even participate to talks, you know digital ecosystem in China, you live and consume digitally,
4. You love pets, worked in Petfood before, you are yourself a Pet Parent,
5. Bachelor’s degree in business and marketing,
6. Experience working in foreign companies with strong sales mindset,
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English,
8. A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables,
9. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations,
10. Experience in planning and implementing marketing strategies,
11. You believe in bringing the best to consumers, you want to improve existing plans, you aim at making each day count,
12. Proficient in PowerPoint, MS Office and Excel,
13. You will prepare a business case should you be shortlisted.
