Role and Responsibilities
1. Mold Design Error Management.
a. Review and validate die-casting mold 3D models.
b. Identify design errors.
c. Lead mold design correction activities.
d. Collaborate with simulation teams (Moldflow / MAGMA).
2. Product Design Risk Analysis.
a. Conduct DFM reviews during Proto & Pilot stages.
b. Analyze wall thickness, rib structure, draft angle, gate location.
c. Support design change proposals.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination.
a. Work with PM, Quality, Tooling, and Production teams.
b. Lead root cause analysis for casting Mold design error.
c. preventive countermeasures.
4. Continuous Improvement.
a. Establish mold design review checklist.
b. Develop internal casting design guidelines.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Materials Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in die-casting or tooling design.
3. Experience with NX / CATIA / UG or equivalent Knowledge of casting simulation software preferred.
4. Understanding of Process of Automotive manufacturing process.
5. Language: English or Korean with communication skills.
